A Stranger in Town (1948)

This is a cute political comedy starring Frank Morgan of Wizard of Oz fame. It was directed by Roy Rowland and produced by Robert Sisk from an original screenplay by Isobel Lennart and William Kozlenko.

The other bounty I get from Amazon is a buck if I can get you to download their free book reader. This shouldn't confront you at all. It's just a book reader. A pretty nice one actually.

  1. An excellent “feel good” movie in which the underdog prevails. The cast is superb and includes many of my favorites. Do yourself a favor and enjoy this movie. I give it 5 stars (out of 5)

  2. Nice bit of fun at an appropriate 67 minutes. Jean Rogers is gorgeous. This is a 1943 movie, however. There is more than one reference to “the war.”

  3. I liked this movie very much. I just love the classics
they don’t make movies like this anymore.
    Thank you so much….
