    1. Excellent film. Heddy Lamar is wonderful. Charles Boyer is great (he does have one musical number near the end).

Heddy (Playing Gabby) visits Algiers with her fat and older fiance. She visits the Casbah and meets Pepe la Moko (Boyer) and falls in love.
