Bat, The (1959)

The Bat (1959) is a mystery film directed by Crane Wilbur, and co-starring Vincent Price and Agnes Moorehead. Its tagline was “When it flies, someone dies!” The film was based on the 1920 Broadway play by Avery Hopwood and Mary Roberts Rinehart, which was previously filmed as The Bat (1926) and as The Bat Whispers (1930), both directed by Roland West. The 1959 version also features Darla Hood of The Little Rascals in her final film appearance.

  1. TO BAD THEY DO NOT MAKE THEM LIKE THIS ANYMORE. NOTHING LIKE A NICE MYSTERY THRILLER TO ENJOY IN BLACK / WHITE.
HOPE TO SEE MORE OF THEM…….

  2. The only Firefox that works more or less properly is Firefox 23 and only on Vista or higher. It still would have to get twice as good to suck. It’s slow and likes to crash.

Downloads never were supported and it’s anti-social to run file rippers when the other users are trying to stream the files. I run about every browser known to see what you’re gonna see when you use Retrovision. When I looked with Firefox, I wasn’t happy. Nothing I can fix. Just a clunky, outdated browser even in it’s current form.

I guess we could trade one thing for another. I can either respond to a bunch of tech support issues from people using Firefox, or I can try to convince people to use a good browser. Meh.

You never were supposed to be able to download. It messes up other people trying to stream. Remove your file ripper and run a virus scan. More often than not, the utilities that do this are a trojan horse.
