A Stranger in Town (1948)
This is a cute political comedy starring Frank Morgan of Wizard of Oz fame. It was directed by Roy Rowland and produced by Robert Sisk from an original screenplay by Isobel Lennart and William Kozlenko.

I really like this movie. I also like this web site so much, for a lovely pass time for me, especially in the fall and winter months of the year, with not to much to do outside, eh.
An excellent “feel good” movie in which the underdog prevails. The cast is superb and includes many of my favorites. Do yourself a favor and enjoy this movie. I give it 5 stars (out of 5)
Nice bit of fun at an appropriate 67 minutes. Jean Rogers is gorgeous. This is a 1943 movie, however. There is more than one reference to “the war.”
A great Frank Morgan movie
Loved it feel good movie is a good discription.
I liked this movie very much. I just love the classics
they don’t make movies like this anymore.
Thank you so much….
