Kansas Pacific (1953)

Kansas Pacific is a 1953 U.S. motion picture directed by Ray Nazarro. It stars Sterling Hayden and Eve Miller. The movie is western about the struggle to build the Kansas Pacific Railway in the 1860s during the American Civil War. In the movie, the building of railroad in Kansas is opposed by sympathizers of the Confederacy. This movie has the feel of a high budget western of it’s era. It’s surprising that it wasn’t in color. It has some pretty fantastic depictions of cannon warfare.
