  1. hi kevin

    this sounds like horrible news

i don’t know much about how roku works, but does this mean we won’t be able to watch the massive cool library you created?

  2. Oh ok Kevin. No worries but thank you for RetrovisionTV!! Love ya for all you do for us!! XOXOXOXO

  3. I really miss “Victory at Sea” and can’t seem to find it here on the site.

Was sharing this with my friends and my kids as an example of how important TV could have been.

  4. WARNING – do NOT sign up for the “free 5 day trial membership” to bamplay.

Only for brevity and clarity, I’m editing this comment. Ray seems to have had a problem with something called Bamplay and I’m not sure I understand the whole story. – Kevin – see response.

  5. Is this something you got from Roku? Call Roku. We have no relationship at all. Is it an ad from here? Call Google. If you got charged anything, call your bank. If you are still mad, call the Federal Trade Commission. Google will ban false advertisers. The FTC will prosecute false advertisers and your bank should keep you from paying for something that was not what it should have been.

I can’t evaluate every advertiser who wants to pay me 2 bits for a banner ad click, but there are people whose job it is.

Bad advertisers are bad for everybody. Please report them.

Every once in a while, I run into something like this myself and just do the list here. Mainly I was more mad when someone stole my hat a couple months ago.
