I have shown all the movies I have the legal right to show from the Basil Rathbone/Sherlock filmography. There is a DVD set remastered at UCLA film archive which has all 14 Rathbone/Sherlock films. I like the Jeremy Brett interpretation too. For both, you’re gonna need to buy/rent the DVDs.

This movie displayed both the funny ironic side of life and some seamier elements who pervert good things.
Overall it was a very good movie.

A most exelent preservation of classic episodes though I do miss the P.B.S. versions with the actor Jerremt Brett [ I believe that is the correct spelling of his name] A more complete collection with Basil Rathbone would be greatly welcome. There are just some renderings that should be preserved for future generations . These seem to be in safe hands . I am most impressed.

Web video needs good connectivity. The problem is one of low bandwidth. You can pause the movie yourself to let things buffer for a few minutes, so that the movie pre-loads. Sometimes you’ll experience slowness because the internet is just slow. Sometimes your own routers and modems can be the culprit. Resetting them sometimes helps.

The only difference in the web site lately is that I’m only showing the tag cloud on the main page and not in single post and tag pages. This was to speed the web up. It might take you one extra click to get to what you wanted.

It is nearly impossible make an easy way to navigate 1000+ films. You might look at the “browse” page if you haven’t found it.

Would love to view this movie in its full-length, but do have a question: why does it pause, with the counting and then, start showing again? I love the noir genre and some of these oldies do this when watching them. Do I need to do anything, other than select movie of choice ,to avoid these many pauses? there were at least seven up to Robinson crossing his fingers on the “three on a match”.

I was so elated when I first discovered this web site. Lately it has become so complicated that I
just want to scream! You have so many movies available but its impossible to know just what.It used to be so much better organized. It was a delight to find a movie to watch. Now even though I suspect a particular movie is there, it’s like looking for a needle in a haystack. By the time you find what you’re looking for or something you want to watch, it takes so long that you don’t want to watch it anymore. It’s very, very frustrating and a huge disappointment. Please, please go back to the old way that the movies were organized. It was easy and fun. The way movie selections and viewing should be.

Wrong. “It’s” is the contraction of “It is”, where “Its” is the plural of something that has no gender.

Like Bob Barker says: It’s a good idea to turn your dogs and cats into its.

The contractions that usually elude me are there’s, there’re, their and theirs. Thanks Andrea. You made me look at an English book for the first time in 30 years. I haven’t been making the mistake you commented on, but there is one mistake I’ve probably been making for 20 years that I did discover from looking it up. Boy! Is my face red. I’m supposed to be sort of edumacated.

I do appreciate people pointing out things that are wrong, broken links, errors etc. It’s probably even not a bad deal that I got out Websters English Grammar and Composition, circa 1975. At least some things don’t change in a hurry.

My spelling is terrible and my grammar is worse. If it wasn’t for built in spell checking, we’d really be doomed.

And remember:

Pretty accurately describes the relentless depersonalization of war from afar/by remote control. The “warrior” doesn’t have to have any point of contact with those he kills…especially the non-combatant. It is eerie how much our “hero’s” weapon resembles our (the US’s) Predator drone!

i am sure there are many people out there that are nazi followers
though there are nazi followers i hope that america will not follow in that same path and will not have a repeat many lives were lost that were not suppost to be lost though these lost were made we have learned from them
we have learned that when u try to have things go ur way everything goes down hill and worse comes to worse we have all seen or heard what has happened to thoughs in that time period and many were devistated by the lost of there love ones i am sure people would not want to see that happen ever again but we must remember that history is like a circle it repeats itself
bad and good things will happen over and over again and as humans on earht we must do as much as we can to prevent bad to coming for the near future
maybe sameday we will prevent all bad from occuring but first we must learn to not repeat many things
nobody wants the many deaths to come again and hofly now everyone on earth is aware of what can happen when the wrong people come into power

This is actually a very interesting movie. It is definitely a 50’s b-movie creeper, but with some excellent acting by the lead man, Richard Boone. I won’t go into detail about the movie…see IMDB for more in-depth commentary and reviews. However, if you enjoy the psychological creepyness and plot twists of the original Twilight Zone series, then you probably will enjoy this movie. It was 77 minutes well spent.
