What to Do On a Date (1955)

Tags: ,

It’s amazing how much things change. Kids today have a wide choice in media. In the 50’s and 60’s our media was a 16mm projector and we got to watch choice things like this. It was 1950. Being a commie, gay, promiscuous, selfish or cocky was bad and nice girls didn’t. Now all that and you get to be in Congress.

“Girls who park in cars with boys aren’t popular” :) “Are you popular?” reveals that Jenny is a bimbo who thinks she’s liked, while Carolyn is a nice girl who everybody likes.

Here’s a selection of a few of these films from the Prelinger archives at archive.org

Enjoyed the advice. No matter how old you are; this is still a good strategy.

‘Responsibilities of American Citizenship’ sure makes todays’ push towards Global Government look like one of the ‘Disguises of Socialism’ we are warned about in the film.

Thanks!!! These are the ones I was talking about on my post on Principles of Electricity. I don’t remember them being the Young American series. I was seeing them in the late 60s up here in Canada in my grade school, even though I spent my summers in Ohio and PA with relatives.
    Thanks for the enjoyment!!
