I thought it was funny that even though there was only about forty people on the space station, that during the fight sequence, he managed to kill a couple hundred.
Even though the fight scene is way too long, is must have taken a ridiculous amount of work to choreograph all of it. Gotta give them credit for that!
Always find it funny how space life and travel is portrayed in pre-space era movies.
Do you really think you could stand outside on a space station???

I’m not sure what you would call it, but it is something that you should watch for sure.
Almost every show I have seen, is like ten others I have seen…But NOT this one.

I’m moving some stuff around in my office, so I haven’t had a windows box hooked up for a week or so. I’ll get one hooked back up here in a couple days and check this out.

I’ve been looking for Starman for years. I loved it in the 60′s and I still do. Got more? I know there are more Starman movies out there, some in color.

You’ll have to excuse the taste of myself, your webmaster, and about 2000 regular patrons of this web. B movies are mindless and will make you laugh if you are in the right mood. Starman is a phenomenon of 1950′s Japanese sci-fi and I think appeals to the 6 year old that sat in a movie theater with some popcorn to enjoy a 50 cent Saturday matinee with a box of red hot tamales and a bag of popcorn.
I used to take my little brother because dad and mom wanted a break. OK, so the film didn’t cost 200 million dollars. It’s hammy, it’s corny, it’s silly. At least it isn’t a reality show.
When I was a kid in the 70s I woke up at 1 am, turned the TV on
and saw the scene at 1:30 with the “galactic council” or whatever
them dudes are called– man o man did that scene ever make an
impression of ultra-cosmic-weirdness with those star people!
Star People looking around with that
traffic-light-thing at 1am– Way cool!
Did’nt see this movie again for so many years,
but those stars + traffic light dude stick with you
all that time because
the symbology is intense.
