Cold Sweat (1970)

Tags: , , , ,

Charles Bronson plays Joe Martin. Joe has a jaded past, but has settled down and become a fisherman married to Lee Remick Liv Ullman. Some of his old army buddies look him up and want him to smuggle heroin in his fishing boat. Joe isn’t too happy about this. This is a suspense film and has a lot of good car chase scenes.

I watched this one here a while ago.
Pretty typical of the era, but if you like Charles Bronson (as I do) you will enjoy this film.
Thanks for putting this one back for others to enjoy.

WoW!! The last time i saw this movie was 1984 ..And its amazing how the second time viewing it feels like a different movie , mind you i couldn’t remember much. nice post.

I always thought Lee Remick was one of the prettiest women in film, I was devastated when she died so young. Thanks again Kevin.

Good movie. I live in France and really: it has not much changed the last 30 years. The car scenes are great. My own car still has yellow front lights and i love them. South of France is beautiful and special: worth a visit. It is really a pity that we all have to die one day – the main actors of this movie have already gone. Great make. Thousand thanks for posting it. Greetings from France.

I liked this movie; it’s a Very good early Bronson film.

I’m a Charles Bronson Fan. I like everything he’s done.
And again , he delivers. I liked this movie, I liked the 70’s
time period this movie was made in and the filming in the South of France was beautiful, drama, action, and cast of actors make for a darn good movie. The car stunts in the Police chase were really cool.
Not like the Kaboom & Green Screen stunts they pour in movies today.
And the old cars were so fun to try to remember
    what they were.
    Can you name them all?
One car was in the hit movie “CARS”.
Do you know which one? I enjoyed this movie so much,
    I even made popcorn…
They are gone, but their work lives on, in this early 70’s movie.
    Many Thanks…

I’m also a fan of the late Charles Bronson.Hella great movie.Would be fantastic if the “Death Wish” movies could be on sometime?? Also a REAL OLD Mickey Rooney movie,”The Atomic Kid” would be a “bonus” as my deceased mother and I watched it together and laughed ’til our sides hurt!Especially with “burnt” sandwich scene.Excellent work, thanks again.

  9. Kevin says:

Sorry, but I can’t play “The Atomic Kid”. It’s rare, it’s only available legitimately as a 1997 VHS release.

017153013733 is the UPC code. There was a copy available on ebay.

who is Lee Remick on this film. I saw the credits in the beginning and it shows the name of actress Liv Ullman. I am not sure if Lee Remick is on this film. I do remember her from The omen.

  11. Kevin says:

I was mistaken about Lee Remick.

  12. Max says:

    That wasn’t you Kevin.
That was LtJackboot that thought it was Lee Remick.
It was in fact Liv Ullman as Bronson’s wife.
Lee Remick wasn’t in this film.

  13. rey says:

actually that is Jill Ireland, who would later become Bronson´s wife and die of cancer in the 1990´s.

  14. Max says:

I was talking bout the movie, not real life.
    Jill Ireland played Moira.
Liv Ullman played Fabienne Martin (the wife of Bronson’s character).

  15. sailboatjim says:

Lee Remick was the sexiest of Bronson’s co-stars…….She was at her best in Bronson’s “Telefon”………..

  16. As Half Norwegian I Love to see Liv Ullman and Charles Bronson together and I really enjoy the nature in France, due to that I have been where they have made the film

    TV VOID

http://tvvoid.com is under construction specifically to address the issues of my foreign visitors.Hmm… it looks to me like you are in Pakistan. I’ve been seeing a lot of new traffic coming from your general global locale. India has become the #2 source of traffic for my home grown Oregon web. It used to be France.

Regardless, you’ll find an almost finished web which has no programming that’s restricted to the USA,
