		<description>Yep.  Thelma Todd took that alias because she wanted to be taken seriously.  Her career before Corsair was Laurel and Hardy and Buster Keaton roles as the cute babe who gets chased in Keystone Cop style comedy.  Corsair was a critical failure, but I think it&#039;s a halfway decent film.  This was early enough to be &quot;pre-code&quot; cinema.  It doesn&#039;t push the envelope with that very far.

I don&#039;t think Zasu Pitts dropped from history.  She had a pretty nice career before she died of cancer at age 69.  Her last film, a week before she died, was It&#039;s a Mad, Mad World.</description>
