Dilbert is an animated television series spin-off of the comic strip of the same name. The first episode was broadcast on January 25, 1999 and was UPN’s highest rated comedy series premiere to that point of the network’s history; it lasted two seasons on UPN and won a Golden Globe before its cancellation.
The Name
Dilbert continues having the egg dream, and learns about another guy with that dream who turned into a chicken. Dilbert works on a project named Acorn, but Dilmom suggests the name Gruntmaster 6000.

The Prototype
Dilbert, Alice, and Wally are working on a new prototype, and they are competing against the notoriously ruthless Lena. She seduces Dilbert and steals his idea, but Dilbert's team wins anyway.

The Competition

Testing
Bob Bastard arrives to test the Gruntmaster prototype, and it fails the first two rounds. Dilbert, with help from Dogbert in space, gets the Gruntmaster to pass the asteroid crash simulation test.

Elbonian Trip
