The founder and owner of a large cosmetics company, Janice Starlin (Susan Cabot), is disturbed when her firm’s sales begin to drop after it becomes apparent to her customer base that she is aging. Scientist Eric Zinthrop (Michael Mark) has been able to extract enzymes from the royal jelly of the queen wasp that can reverse the aging process.

not the best, but the ending was far out.
I saw this at a drive-in in 1968 or 1969, waiting impatiently for it to finish so we could get to the main feature “Bride of Frankenstein” starring Boris Karloff. I wasn’t that keen on it then and I don’t particularly want to see it again.
Wel it is a little Bad Movie for me MERCIE TO BE BACK KEVIN JULES,
It brought back memories and it is typical movie of those times….in that vein, I enjoyed it and very Roger Corman-ish!
This movie-while cheesy (by today’s standards)-tramatized me as a child (I was 4 or 5 when I sat it in ’75). I still remember her face the absolute terror that I had of her for years to come. Even now-while I see it as cheesy-I still feel a distant fear of her in what I felt as a child. I look for sites like this-gathering to see her face-so to face my long ago fear once again.
I love old films…. Excellent Im going to look out for this one.
such a classic just ordered it off ebay!
This is a classic example of the Arkoff/Nicholson/Corman technique of making the poster sell the movie.
You really don’t see much of the “wasp woman” in her role as a wasp, only brief glimpses.
It’s still a hell of a lot of fun, though + Susan Cabot is a treat for the eyes.
I think movies where you don’t really see much of the monster can be pretty effective. Another movie like that is Ridley Scott’s Alien. It seems to me that there are a lot of other examples, but I can’t think of any off hand.
a problem with the audio sorry !
You aren’t allowed to have audio problems
. It isn’t in my list of approved problems for you to have. The only thing I can think of is that your flash player is old. It would have to be really old to have an audio problem.
If it’s not that, I’m clueless about why you would be having problems. It could be something unrelated to flash or the web site.
Movie keeps stopping for a commercial and then stops altogether. Other times it just stops, starts, stops, starts. I’ve tried about 7 or 8 times. There doesn’t seem to be a way to fast forward, so it’s start over completely every time. Any suggestions? Thanks! I just love being able to access these wonderful oldies!
Try restarting your browser. Try a reboot. Try unplugging (from power) your router and/or modem for 15 seconds. Make sure your router and modem aren’t getting hot. They need air. Try later. Sometimes the internet is finicky.
For some reason, I got as far as the scientist injecting the rodents and SusanCabot being very amazed at how great a rejuvenating product this would be . Then bam! a commercial and nothing else.
Ce la vie! as you said computers (the internet ) can be very finicky!
But thanks anyway. I love these old classics! Being I’m an old classic myself. circa 1951! I’ve been watching retrovision for a few months now and it is Grrrrreat!

This file seemed to have a problem. I fixed it.
Is this a BEE movie?
Pretty cool movie. Quite enjoyed it. Everything worked fine. It loaded and played no problem.
Take Care.
Yup, Hanging up at 50:04 but just reload browser & it keeps the buffer so you don’t lose your place. This one was not quite the norm for Corman, no inside jabs on social statements or little twists. Good use of shadow effects to keep it creepy. great little “B” flick & just downright fun
I just went to 50:00 and played. No problem I can see.
i couldn’t figure out the ending; did the wasp women die? jm
One of my favorites. This one was another $ 0.10 view with a show pass at the movie theater. Very good copy of this film. I have two DVD copies that are almost unwatchable! I like the “Leech Woman” also. Funny that both are about the elixir of youth.
Enjoyed this. Film quality was very good. Acting reasonable. A number of recognizable characters from that time period. Thought it odd that both the beginning and end showed a congregation of bees…but then again, how are you going to get wasp’s to do that for film.
