Dennis Weaver is a driver who gets into a life and death struggle with a truck driver. I liked this movie a lot better than the critics did. Of course, my being 9 years old and watching it in the theater might have had something to do with my affection for this film. It’s basically Jaws with a truck.

Edmund O’Brien, Joan Fontaine and Ida Lupino star in this drama. Ida Lupino directs. You’d have to be good to be a woman in 1953 and direct a film. Ida was the best. This film has been almost ignored by the viewers and it’s one of the best ones here.
