Your article on Firefox is on the button. A Dell laptop I bought in 2007 was attacked and ruined by a trojan which turned off Windows Defender (a part of free Microsoft Essentials–you get what you pay for) and came in through Firefox 20. I bought Kaspersky Pure 3.0. but the K lab and I couldn’t fix it from mid-May to the 3rd week of July. Fortunately I have a savvy young friend who was able to get the Pure up & running–the trojan fought the whole way–and the trojan had caused folders to evaporate when clicked to open, among other nasty effects. So I bought another Dell (used) on eBay, on which I permanently removed Firefox because it and the Kaspersky software are incompatible. Firefox used to be pretty good but it seems to have painte4 itself into a corner. And…their online help service has been useless, a fake–and of course, there’s no phone number to talk to a human.
In the past, I have always cussed Internet Explorer, but I can’t find a bit of fault with IE10.
