Suddenly (1954)

Frank Sinatra plays a bad guy who wants to kill the President in the small town of Suddenly. Hes taken the sheriff and his family hostage to accomplish his dastardly scheme. The tranquility of Suddenly is usually disturbed only by sheriff Tod Shaw’s unsuccessful courtship of widow Ellen Benson, a pacifist who can’t abide guns and those who use them.

  1. Very good film. Not an expensive scenaryo, quite simple as a matter of fact, and well performed by all artists but specilly by Frank Sinatra.

  2. Lovely to see the old posters
    as well.
    Helps awaken the memories of
    after school cinema, and getting
    lost in the fantasy.
