The Veil – The Doctors (1958)

Boris Karloff plays kindly old Doctor Marcabienti. A reminder that Karloff, unlike a lot of his typecast contemporaries, could actually act. His son is coming to replace him as the town doctor, but the townspeople object. The most disturbing thing about the Veil is that there isn’t more of it. It must have been too good. This episode struck me as comfort food.
