UFO (1969-1970)

In the near future now past, Earth is being attacked by aliens from a dying planet. Humans are being covertly harvested for their organs by the aliens. A secret, high-technology international agency called SHADO (an acronym for Supreme Headquarters, Alien Defence Organisation) established to defend Earth and humanity against the mysterious aliens and learn more about them, while at the same time keeping the threat of an alien invasion hidden from the public.

But more importantly, some really smoking hot 1970 babes bounce around in mini-skirts. The guys all wear pajamas with an escape hatch. This just made me want to sing “We all live in a yellow submarine” Life just must not have been worth living in the UK in 1970. This is almost as bad as Space 1999, but might fall into the cult film, so bad it’s good category.

Don’t freak out man. You can get all the episodes here.

The Shadow Car just before the horrible accident involving hair spray, a polyester turtleneck and a zippo.

There were no survivors.

  1. Cool… I totally forgot about this show until now. I remember watching this as a kid.

  2. Gabriel Drake was a luscious moon base occupant.

  3. I remember this show when I was 12 years old and I watched the other gerry anderson show Space 1999 and loved the special effects and the miniature space craft effects. Cool memories!
